Ontario's new subway cars are being built in Maryland.

Ontario's money is going to American companies. Doug Ford is the one signing.

THE PETITION

WHEREAS Donald Trump's tariffs are hitting Ontario's steel, auto and forestry workers, and every dollar of public money should be building Ontario jobs;

WHEREAS Ontario's new subway cars are being built by a Japanese company in Maryland;

WHEREAS the WSIB is laying off Ontario workers and sending the money to an American firm;

WHEREAS a $140 million contract at the new Mississauga hospital went to a U.S. company;

WHEREAS every teacher's $750 classroom supply card can only be spent at American-owned Staples;

WHEREAS none of these contracts were forced on Ontario, and Doug Ford calls this Buy Ontario;

THEREFORE we, the undersigned, call on Premier Doug Ford to recall the legislature so we can review every government contract, cancel the ones going to American businesses, and put real Buy Ontario First rules into law.
